|   HUA CHAN SAUCE FACTORY was founded by the  late Mr Lok Siew Hong in the year of 1966. The factory was set up at No.  22, Lorong 6, Jee Foh Road, Krokop Miri. The founder believed totally  that this is a soul for searching manufacturing Industry. He emphasized  on the policy “We are committed to ensure food safety and quality in our products”. 
 On 23rd March, 1988, the factory changed its name and registered as HUA CHAN SAUCE FACTORY (MIRI) SDN BHD. In 2000, Mr James P.C. Lok is appointed as the new Managing Director  and carries the responsibility to ensure the management systems; food  quality systems and the business flow of the company.
 
 In October 2004, due to the drastic demand by the  consumers, the factory was expanded and relocated to new factory site in  Senadin Industrial Area, whereby is our present site: Factory: Lot 1963  &1964; Office: Lot 1948 &1949, Block 5, Jalan Maigold, Senadin  Industrial Area, 98100 Kuala Baram, Miri, Sarawak.
 
 The factory is a HALAL registered company by JAKIM;  whereby the factory is in line with the national policy in making  Malaysia as the Main Hub of Muslim Halal Products centre in the world.
 
 In April 05, 2006, the company succeeded in obtaining registration of RvA HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certificate. The HACCP system  was drawn using “Codex Alimentarius : Recommended International Code of  Practice General Principles of Food Hygiene and HACCP (CAC/RCP 1-1969,  Rev 4-2003)” and “Moody International’s MI Specification H-01  Requirements of Operational HACCP System”.
 
 The company continues with its growth and practices  food hygiene as stated in Food Act and Regulations and Food Safety  Management System.
 
 In November 2007, the company started with the implementation of ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safely Management project and successfully achieved the  certification in April 09, 2009. At the same time, the company has  upgraded its RvA HACCP to MS1480:2007 HACCP certification.
 
 Hua Chan Sauce Factory (Miri) Sdn Bhd product  quality and customer safety must be given high priority to ensure safe  food for our customer. Therefore, the following policy has been declared  by the company to meet the set food safety & quality objectives:
